Another great trip out in 35 ft of water Northwest of Clearwater. Heather and her brother Mark from West Virginia got some really nice hogfish mixed with a couple 5 lb trigger fish as well as a few 4 to 6 lb corgis until the tax man showed up. We had a cormoran duck chasing the shrimp as it was going down and a bull shark was coming up and about 5 ft under the surface Mr cormoran disappeared into Mr Bull Sharks belly which proceeded to eat two of our hogfish and it was time to go. With the weather forecast showing low 60s as a high and 40s as are low for the next 7 days if the water temperature doesn’t drop below 63°, these Hogfish should stay Within the 30 to 40 ft depth range.
