"Patrick and his mom Nancy took my Bf and I out to find my first gator. The tag was for West Lake Okochobee and we met him around 630/7am.
Boat was a clean Carolina skiff. He was ready to go! We cruised while Patrick’s was spotting gators looking for a good sized one. Finally around 9/930 we snagged out 10 plus foot gator.
I got to use the grapple while my bf held the rod on the gator. And then I got to use the. Bang stick (not so great haha) I need some more practice but I’ll do better next time. We gaffed him and dragged him into the boat.
Patrick got us some great shots and helped us load him into my truck. Patrick had a processor for us to use but we chose to do it ourselves. And it took 2.5 hrs after we chilled the gator for 4 hours. Not easy but glad we gave it a shot for our first hunt.

"Fantastic fishing with Patrick. My wife and I had a great time reeling in some awesome inshore specimens all morning. Patrick put us on Jack Travally, Tarpon, Goliath Grouper and a Nurse Shark for good measure. Extremely helpful, easy going and great company, Patrick did a phenomenal job all around. I highly recommend him for any fishing charter and I’ll definitely hire him again the next time I’m in town."

We got two big gators before lunch time and learned a ton and laughed a bunch with some great stories. We have also fished with him before and he always puts us on fish.
