We are ringing in the new year with warm temps and a hot bite! Hard for me to believe we have these consistent 80 degree days in January, and the fish are loving it.
We’ve started our nearshore charters lately, and they haven’t disappointed! Just 4-6 miles out in the gulf we are finding a lot of nice snapper and sheepshead for the dinner table. Lot of action to boot with mackeral and sharks some days as well.
Inshore bite remains great as well. I am still catching bait even this month! Crazy for us. Snook, redfish, trout and pompano have all been in the bag lately. I suspect it to stay red hot with these temps.
