Closed out September and opened up October on some of the best inshore fishing of the year. Snook, redfish, trout and snapper are all over the backcountry. One of the best influxes of snapper I’ve seen in a long time. Great table fare. Redfish are schooled up and all over the flats. If you want to catch redfish now is the time. 20 plus redfish days are the norm right now. Also, we’re finding a lot of pompano in the area still. Great fighting and great on the grill.
