Today’s trip was one of those reminders of why we do this. From the first stop to the last, Case was dialed in and ready to fish. He baited his own hook, made his own casts, unhooked his own fish, and even helped clean the catch for dinner.
The bite stayed steady and the excitement never faded, which is always a good sign—especially on a young angler’s first trip. Getting kids fired up about the outdoors is what it is all about. This was Case’s first day on the boat, and if we have anything to say about it, it won’t be his last.
