Hot action has opened up the August fishing, the snapper have invaded the bay and providing easy limits on most days. Some of the best table fare you will experience! Lots of snook around now, most days producing upwards of 50 snook on the flats. August always is the start of redfish season, and this last week there has been no shortage of redfish! Good numbers of reds have shown up in our bay system. I saw the first school of big adult redfish this week. Next couple months will provide some of the best flats and redfish fishing of the year.
