As of September 17, 2026 the mullet run is pretty slow along east central Florida and specifically the Sebastian Florida Area. We haven’t had a good mullet run for about 8-10 years and if we don’t get some north winds and calm seas, we aren’t gonna see much more. It’s still a bit early and we have plenty of time for it to pick up, but we have only seen a few small schools and the mullet have been scarce both inshore and nearshore. Despite the lack of mullet, we still have some tarpon on the beach as well as some sharks, jacks, kingfish and tarpon along the beaches and the bite has been pretty good.
