Fall is here! Cooler air temps here in central Florida means cooler water temps and HAPPY FISH! The dog days of summer are gone and the fish have taken note!
Redfish will begin tailing longer into the day and their forage focus will transition from mullet to shrimp as we get closer to winter.
The Speckled sea trout bite will improve including size and early morning top water explosions will be the right way to get the day started.
We will still continue to catch snook and Juvi tarpon until about January.
Join me on the Mosquito Lagoon or the Indian River Lagoon for an inshore adventure!
In Orlando, the Bass fishing is also improving with incredible sight fishing opportunities at schooling fish. These bass are gorging themselves on shad and entering into feeding frenzies making for an exciting, rod bending time on the water!
Specks (Crappie) are also heating with good numbers being caught on jigs and minnows!
